Hi Everyone..today I’ll be reviewing a much raved product from Chambor Extreme Wear Transfer Proof Liquid Lipstick in Shade 482. Liquid Matte Lipsticks are everywhere now and Chambor has also stepped into this category with it’s 18 pretty shades..something for everyone.
About The Product
Packaging: This comes in a transparent plastic tube with a glossy black cap. The tube is quite sturdy and the cap closes tightly making it travel friendly. It retails for Rs. 845/- for 6 ml of product which I feel is a bit pricy, but quality wise, it’s worth buying. The sponge applicator is also user friendly..nothing tricky about..slightly curved giving an easy application.
Pigmentation & Formula: The color payoff is extremely pigmented and smooth. The formula is liquidy and lightweight on the lips. It’s extreme coverage provides a deep, intense color in just one stroke. It’s definitely one of the most pigmented lip formula I own so far.
These are definitely transfer proof which means, apply it once and forget about tough ups..seriously. These settles into a complete matte finish within 60-90 seconds without feeling heavy on the lips. However, just like other mattes, it does dry out lips (but not excessively drying) and settles into fine line..so of course it’s better to exfoliate lips for better results.
Longevity: As the name says, it’s definitely extreme wear. It does stays for good 6-7 hours (or even more depending on the eating activity) without fading or smudging..that’s including meals. I must say that am really impressed with it’s longevity. Over the time, it does forms an inner lip ring (mostly like other matte lipsticks) and may start fading from the inner lip rims in case of oily food.
The Shade: The shade#482 is a deep brown with a bit red undertones to it. The shade definitely reminds me of the 90’s brown lip color. A thin layer of the product gives enough shade. Layering it again with a second coat would result in a darker brown shade.
What I Liked:
- Extreme Matte & Opaque Formula
- Smooth Texture
- Comes in a variety of shades
- Sturdy packaging
- Cruelty Free
- Transfer proof
- Long Wear
What I did not Like:
- Need an oil based remover to get it off completely
- A bit pricey
- Settles into fine line and forms an inner lip ring (after 3-4 hrs).
Overall, I completely loved it. The formula is absolutely matte and opaque. Feels lightweight and are definitely transfer proof. Can be a bit drying on lips, but that’s a common matte lipstick issue-no big concern. Comes in 18 pretty shades for every skin tone from pinks to reds to browns. A bit on higher side in terms of price but it’s worth buying. If you are looking for a quality lip product in matte finish, then go for it.
Will I buy it again?
Yes, definitely I would love to try out other shades as well.
4.5/5 – Very Good
